    THE FS24 VERSION IS A PORT OF THE FS20 DA40!!!!!
     

    Features

    Powerplant changes

    • FADEC with propeller set curve and other ECU functions 
    • Accurate engine performance in relation to pressure altitude and temperature
    • Accurate fuel flows
    • More accurate Oil/Coolant temperature and pressure behaviour

    How to know if I have the working mod?

    I have MSFS 2024. Download the mod put in the community folder I can use it in free flight. But can I swap original DA-40 NG with NGX? So that in career mode I could use the improved version?

    Hello, I was flying with this mod without any issues until a few days ago. After the latest FS2020 update, it stopped working, the FADEC no longer functions, and I get the message shown in the attached image on the PFD. This is the only mod in my Community folder, and the FAQ mentioned doesn’t help. Any ideas on how to fix it?

    Hei. I noticed that speeds like Vy are different in airplane (90 KIAS) and AFM flight manual (72 KIAS). Is there a way to correct plane display, maybe in a config file or so? Thanks!

    I fly this aircraft in real life, and these V speeds are displayed the same in the real aircraft as they are in this mod. You have to change them manually, however, I never do it, real or sim.

    Hi and thank you for this great mod. Just a small issue in that I am unable to 'Send to Avionics' from the MSFS 2024 EFB . The G1000 on default planes works fine in this respect.

    I was doing some research before flying the DA40, since I'm rather new at msfs2020. I noticed this mod and decided to download it, so after my first flight I will react again. The pictures I saw on this site are very nice and the promise a lot.

    Hello, could you make changes to the G1000 AUX page?

    It is necessary to enable the GPS CDI graph to change the scale of the System CDI.

    Will it be possible to change the scale of 2.00 nautical miles to 0.30 nautical miles or make it possible to change this parameter yourself?

    The new version (0.12.0) ist not working (FS2020), last working for me, 0.10.
    The engine runs rough, and quits after about 1 minute of flight. In Eicas the message "Incompatible System" appears.

    There is a problem with the initial climb rate, with 1 as well as at 0 notch of flaps.
    After rotation I try to maintain a 70 kts climb speed which results in a very low vertical speed. Very quickly I hear the "don't sink" message, as well as the stall warning. Above 700ft the plane accelerators but still seems to be under powered. I fly the Robin DR40 in real life which climbs a lot better after take off.

    This is not a Robin DR40. I fly the Diamond DA40NG in real life and Vr is 67, V50 is 72. Rotate and climb out at 72 knots, flaps T/O, until 400ft AGL, not 70. Flaps up at 400ft and then climb at 88 knots and 92% load.

    Two flights with fuel exhaustion. Flight one - Cruise at 65% for approximately 1 hour and noticed I hadn't burned any fuel (per gauges). Switched tanks and suddenly lost power due to fuel exhaustion and L tank empty. Flight 2 - 30 minute flight with full fuel, landed and engines stopped while taxiing. L tank again showed empty. I love the plane and appreciate all of your efforts!

    The right tank is the emergency transfer. it says "emergency" . Please read the aircraft manual
